I just joined Craftster and I think it is pretty cool.

I made a silk smock following this tutorial

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=18063.0

I think it came out very cute and it was easy and fast.

What do you guys think?

and i LOVE it, what kind of fabric is it? it looks so fresh. A dress also in that fabric and with that style would be amazing, also. LOL

I reposted the pic again with another address to see if it works now.

The fabric is some kind of silk I think. The one you can see one color on one side and another color on the other side.

I have some fabric leftover and I think I'll make a dress or skirt that shows both sides of the fabric. Any ideas?

So cute, love the fabric. I just posted a similar jumper myself (hello mod jumper). Yours would look beautiful as a little dress too! Is it silk? Was it difficult to work with silk?

The only thing that is difficult about working with silk is that it ravels a lot and you end up with silk threads everywhere. Other than that, it's pretty easy to work with.

I love the contrasting band. It looks both so traditional Indian and so modern and fresh. Good job. PS Love the painting in the background!
