I spun this up fully intending to ply, but decided I liked it a lot as a single.  Then I decided to dye it some really bright colors, hated that, and kept overdying until I got this.  Clearly I'm having issues doing anything that I plan to do right now.  It's sort of boring yarn, but I like it anyway.

Thanks for the comments!

I just knit up a test swatch to see what size needles I could use with it.  I started on 1's and got a really nice tight knit and then this swatch was on 6's.  I'm really horrible at figuring out what size needles to recommend using with my yarns and figured trying it myself would be the best way to tell.  However, if this doesn't sell, I'm contemplating making someone in my family some socks with it...it actually matches a scarf that I made for my dad last year.

I don't think this yarn is boring at all - it's beautifully spun, looks quite balanced, and the colours are subtle but very nice. I reckon you'll totally sell it, it'd be great for someone of a more subdued temperament.

I also like the color variations. I could see this being a great hat or pair of mittens for a guy.

btw your avatar and sig remind me of when my parents used to make me say 'the rabbit says roar!' just so they could laugh at my 'the wabbit says war!' pronunciation of aforementioned phrase. Luckily, I've since grown out of my 'r' problems.

I second(or is that fifth?) the statements about how the yarn isn't boring. It's not. Very good color variations you go from the overdying.. Good move.

I really like this, too.  It has a nice rustic cinnamon color to it, and is spun amazingly fine.  I like the photo shoot, too - it looks happy on the stone with the greenery behind it.
