These are really cute, thanks for sharing the pattern.  I'd like to try to make them for a little girl (very skinny little girl).  Would I leave off stitches in multiples of 5? I'm trying to figure it out from reading the pattern, but math has never been my friend.
Thanks!
Your yarn is really beautiful, too!

I'm so glad people are making these! (And liking them! Wink) Craftsters are the best!

aliciasjoy - there are two ways to go to make a little girl size. Either reduce by five (or ten) like you already thought, but plus one. Meaning, the bands are repeats of five stitches with one slip stitch. So cast on 24 (or 18) and then just follow the pattern. The other way to go is make it into fours with the slip stitch being the fifth stitch. (meaning where it says "k5" only knit 4. Cast on 25 (or 20) stitches and follow it that way. Does this make sense?

The first way is easier maths but the second way will look better proportionally on a smaller wrist. Let me know if you are still lost. I can write it all out in a pattern to follow if you need it.

Thank you so much!  I get your explanation perfectly.  I'll try your second suggestion, I didn't even think about proportion.  I think she'll really like these.

Whoa! I'm so flattered and honored to be a part of a knitalong! Thanks Bronxie!

I know it's dorky but I'm going to participate too.  Cool
