That is very very pretty!

How much yarn did you use?  What size needles?

Great work and, I agree, totally inspiring.

First of all, thanks! 

Secondly, I used about 3.5 or so 25 gram balls of Jamieson & Smith Cobweb-weight Shetland in an off white color...I'd say about 1400 or 1500 yards of yarn, all knitted with size 2 needles.

Step one:  Collect Underpants
Step two:  ? ? ?
Step three:  Profit!

Absolutely gorgeous -- and my hands are aching just thinking of all that size 2 knitting!

I couldn't help but think while looking at it that, even though it's much too nice, it'd also make a stunning table runner for the holidays.
