I would love to see what everyone could do with a set of kitchen napkins..

.I just received a beautiful set of lace table napkins for the dining table but we do not give dinner parties.....we feed our family at bar b Q's and just never stand on any ceremony what so ever when we feed family and friends..just come on over anytime and I will feed you Grin..we ain't' elegant but we are hospitable..so now I have these and several more sets....

You don't have to get it right the first time, just the last time.

We have "every day" cloth napkins--it'd be fun to find a way to pretty them up.

I SO know how you feel!
I have a set of embroidered linen napkins, and I find myself serving non-messy food whenever they're in use.
However, I'd put away my being anal about them for the sake of a crafty challenge.

/bump for great justice.

I have some napkins that were stamped with Christmas stuff to cross-stitch.  I didn't like the stamping so I washed it out and am now in the process of making my own designs on them to embroidery.  I think this would be a great exchane!

ATC personal swaps requested.  PM me.

I have a small collection of older cloth napkins and I think it would be interesting to incorporate them into an apron, maybe as the bib part.  It could be great fun.
