I made this quilt for the "Great Craftster Scavenger Hunt Swap" each of the embroidered squares represents something on the scavenger hunt list. Click here for the complete list of items: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=106471.0. This is the swap gallery so you can see all of the other crazy things that were made for this swap!

Here is the whole quilt:

Here is a close up of the embroidered items:
The mermaid isn't finished in this picture.

For this one I blew up the image on a copy machine then traced it with a transfer pen.  It is from the "Bowling Betties" package.

The yellow cards are correspond to item numbers on the master hunt list.

Let me know what you think!

Each square is about 8 inches (or so) my husband estimated that the quilt is about 4 feet by 4 feet. I suppose it could be either.

I love the shoe.  Really cute.

I am IMPRESSED.  I'm working on an embroidered quilt too and i'm happily anticipating my grandchildren sleeping under it -- cause it's going to take me that long to get the thing finished!  you are an exceptionally prolific crafter, I'm noticing!

Thank you!

Prolific....naaaaa. ADHD that's all! For the last ten years I have worked in 50-80 hour a week jobs. Last November I switched to a normal 8-5 and didn't know what to do with all of this extra time! So now I make stuff....all kinds of stuff.

With this quilt I was able to completed all of the embroidery because my MIL was hospitalized recently (she is doing OK) but I spent hours upon hours in the hospital and I brought my embroidery with me. It is a nice quiet portable craft to take to go!
