WOW!!   I love the bracelets!!  I might just take over the toaster oven to try bead melting out in the yard.  Since Fall is here, I don't want to stink up the house too badly.  You are an inspiration!!

this is a great thread! So many ideas! I actually bought a pack of perler beads a couple weeks ago after seeing some of the crafts on here. but it looks like some of you guys are just arranging the beads on foil and baking it without using the pegboards or special paper that comes in my pack. Does it work better that way? Also, I'm definitely gonna give the lite brite pegs a try cuz I have a bag of about 1000 old ones I got of ebay a while ago!

Sweets, that is spectacular!!!! You are definitely taking this hobby to a new level.

I just got a Dremel, and have been wanting to try out some ideas. I have one idea prepped and ready to cut tonight. Muahahah.

As for using foil it works pretty well. Beads don't stick to the foil, though if there are creases, sometimes the beads will melt around the crease, and it may be difficult to remove the foil. Also, the melted beads tend to take the texture of whatever it is they are sitting on. So, if what you are melting in isn't smooth, then you will get a surface that isn't smooth.
