These are so cool!

I e-mailed a friend tonight about Craftster, telling how cool it was. Told her I planned to make some s-n-p shakers for our craft bazaar and that she could get an idea what polymer clay was by looking here, but that there weren't any shakers on it that I knew of! HA!

I love yours! Got any more to show?!

The only other ones I have are these, which I did when I FIRST got into clay (forever ago) AND I didn't have a pasta machine to roll my clay out, I did it all by hand  Tongue

P.S That would be Puerto Rico flags!  Grin

I should totally make some more, in fact I think I'll look around at the dollar store today for more!  Smiley

My boyfriend would especially like the Puerto Rican-flagged ones!

Isn't it fun to be able to make s&p shakers look just any way you want??  I've heard of clayers making sets to go with their kitchens, dishes, or placemats, and even special ones just for Xmas, Halloween, Valentines Day, etc.  The small glass ones aren't usually too expensive either at dollar stores, and sometimes at Hobby Lobby or other crafts stores, and there are always thrift stores.

graced, here are just a few actual salt and pepper, etc. shakers:

But your best bet for getting an idea of all the ways that shakers could be covered or embellished with polymer clay though would be to check out the similar but often smaller "bottles of hope" (...which are simply small glass or plastic bottles covered and/or embellished, in many many ways with clay, then often to give to cancer patients.. just ignore their tops and many could be salt and pepper containers):
Here's one site that has a bunch of them:

....and there are many more linked to (and lessons) on this page:
