The placemats really weren't suppse to be a dog bed - he just commandeered them when I went to take the pictures!  They were quickly  reacquired and have found their way to my kitchen!

I have seen some really pretty things coming through.  I am going to be making up (hopefully) my next creation today.. I had to wait for a little help from my motherinlaw... She is going to hopefully teach me something new.. we will see... I do have a backup plan if my vision falls through Wink

4 days ago I went to the mail box and there was a big, puffy package in it from my secret FOC.  I took the package home, opened it, turned it over, gave it a little shake and out popped 2 items.  The first was this:

a beautiful tote bag (I love the colors).  The second was a little purple knit hat - hmmmmmm, I wondered, why in the world would she/he send me this (it's a little small for my sons  Grin )  Then I decided I should find out what the bulge was that was still in the bag.  Well, I quickly found out who the little hat was for:

The worlds best knit snowman ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He's so adorable and cuddly and I can't wait until I can display him with all my winter stuff - he's certainly going to be a great addition.

THANK YOU so much secret FOC for this FANTASTIC package!

awwww what a cute snowman!

When we checked the mail yesterday I had a package from my FOC. To hide her identity she sent the 4th (store bought) package as the 3rd package. Fun tidbit: when she was about 8 she lived in the same town I do now!

My FOC is so sweet! For the package she sent stuff for all my animals.  Grin They, and I, were thrilled! Thank you FOC!!!!

Everything together. She even included a newspaper clipping she'd been saving on how to make Peeps!  Shocked Awesome

Kitaro entranced by the bacon stick treats. He says they are divine and thank you mystery person.

KoKo (left) and Pixel (right) had a little tiff over the cat treats. KoKo is just starting to understand what treats are and actually eating some. He really liked these. Pixel had his mouth too full to comment.

Napoleon thinks this will be the fashion statement of the year for ferts all over. He was too distracted looking for food to steal to play with it during the picture but had some fun with it later on.

There are also furry/feathery mice for the kitties. Pixel had a good time running them down at I threw them around the room.

Thank you again.  Smiley The boys thank you too.

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
