Inspired by Mr Snootypus:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=109673.0

He's a combination of crochet and knitting.  A mutant, if you will. Wink

Body is crocheted on size 3 hook (2.10 mm).  Legs are knitted (2.25 mm).  Suckers are crocheted - size 12 (1.00 mm).  The eyes and lips are fabric paint.  Three colors of craft thread (dark purple, medium purple, and light blue).

He took a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng time over the past two days.

Sooo cute! You know everytime I saw a knitted/crochet octopus I wondered where are the suction cups? And you have found them brilliant! Tongue

Taking a break from Craftster so I can finish up my swaps!

I love the bright colors and the suction cups on yours Smiley Mine looks a little more like a jellyfish without the cups, but I've already gifted him so I can't octopify him any more!
