I spent 12$ on markers, colored my shoes with them, tried to put some water on it and it BLEEDED. I checked the craft store's website and they sold fabric markers in the colors i wanted for half the PRICE!
I went back to the craft store and they bitch-slapped me that there were no refunds on markers!  I'm BOYCOTTING that store.
Clerks can't break store policy to keep a customer happy. Normally it makes sense that markers can't be returned, but in this case I'd say either talk to the manager/owner, or write your complaint in to the website and complain about the local store (if it's a franchise). You bought the markers on the advice of THIER personnel, and they didn't know their merchandise. The fault is not in you or the marker but the staff, and that is what has to be pointed out. (even if they'd said "I don't know" it would've not been so bad, but it sounds like they guessed rather than admit ignorance, and they guessed all wrong) I don't guarantee that you'll get a refund, but it's always worth a try to kick a complaint higher up the food chain.

Bringing sexy back for a refund. It really just wasn't "me".

They're even cooler than I thought they'd be!!
You should definetly buy some sort of sealant so that the colors don't run when/if your shoes get wet.

I'd suggest sealing them with Krylon or something becuase permanent marker on canvas shoes washes off/ smudges in the rain. Other than that the shoes arelovely!

Thanks for the suggestions. So just some clear krylon spray would work?
