HOORAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin  Look at what the wonderful hoxierice sent me!

It's EXACTLY the way I pictured it!  Love the colour, love the shape, love the cables, and the handles worked out perfectly!  Thank you so much, hoxie, it's so beautiful!

As soon as I pulled it out of the box and plopped it on my lap, I felt something inside the purse...I thought, "ooh, I bet that's chocolate!!"  dam I'm good...I can sense chocolate a mile away.

Thanks thanks thanks so much, I LUVS IT ALL!!!!!!
(the peanut butter chocolate was goooood!!!  can't wait to eat up all the rest)

I am glad you like it! I had yarn issues, my first try I didn't have enough yarn and I had to go to a yarn store ten miles away and they had almost the same yarn, but not the exact same so I had to start over! I am glad you like the size, any smaller and the handles would over power the purse, any bigger and it might end up looking like a sweater! I figured I should get you chocolate since you asked and you did buy the handles Smiley. I went to the fancy natural food store.

By they way, bubba*tink what do you use for the background of all your pictures? Oh...I see the push pin you must have a blue wall!

Hi Hookin Flamingo!

I was going to post a bit later when I could take some action shots, but I'll go ahead and post all the wonderful goodies (or most of them) now and do action shots later!

Lookie at what I received!  Not 1, but 2 wonderful octopi (Hookin Flamingo made one for me and one for my daughter.  How generous and wonderful is that!!). Next a bunch of beautiful magnets: octopus, lobster, buttercup, butterfly, and grapes.  She loves the magnets!!  You were totally right about kids and magnets!  And finally a lovely journal with music notes (This item is currently missing--my daughter ran off with it!)  Thank you soooooo much Hookin Flamingo.  You really spoiled us!!

Take care!

I am so glad you and your daughter like the goodies.
As I told you in the note I sent in the package, when my kids were little I could sit them in the floor while I cooked supper and they would play with the magnets on the fridge for HOURS!  Cheesy
My son use to love a plastic Oreo cookie and a plastic mug of root beer I had...He would sit and pretend to eat them then he would go around and share "bites" with every one else.
So I hope those give your little girl hours of fun also and help keep her out from under your feet while working in the kitchen.

I would love to see some action shots of her playing with them Wink

I would like to modify this post to include the fact that I was supposed to make a monkey for atsuko. but, we were not able to get a free pattern and we did not want to infringe on any copy right laws we decided to do the octopi.
And since I felt so bad and I knew she had wanted a monkey she got lots of extra goodies to make up for the make of a primeate lol

SO I hope I do not get atsuko or myself in any trouble for sending the extras  Smiley

My partner, mpicky, said she recieved her tote bag that I made her so I thought I would post a couple pictures that I took of it before sending.

It's a big tote bag/purse.. It's made from a really cool looking red and white print. I'm not really sure what the print is of....maybe weird shaped leaves or something? Idk. I just thought it looked fun. The straps are polka dot ribbon (that kind they use for belts) and the inside is just plain red, nothing fancy there.  Wink

Annnddd here are some pictures of me modeling it in my messy messy room.
Click to see the full size.

Sorry the pictures are pretty grainy, cheap camera  Tongue

I will be out of state until February. I may be able to check emails periodically so if you need me, it would be more timely to email me. Thanks. ANY OWED SWAP PACKAGES WILL GO OUT BEFORE I LEAVE.
