ummmm, what is a bath bomb? I thought you put them in the water and they dissolved like salts, but if they're still going strong after a week, I'm confused as to what they are.....maybe I'm just being dumb cuz it's been one of those days but could someone tell me what they are?

yours are really cute. i love the colors and molds. can u use just anything for the molds?

A bath bomb is thrown into the tub and they fizz and dissolve and add lovely moisturizing oils to the bath tub. By saying "going strong after a week" I meant that they didn't fall apart as I had feared.

For the molds, you can use chocolate molds (hard plastic) or ice cube tray or muffin molds (silicone). You can also use things like styrofoam cups and peel the sides away, plastic Easter eggs, meat ballers, or even use your hands to crush them into ball shapes. Everything turns into a mold when you are making bath bombs!

OK. That's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying though! I can't wait to make some. I've just gotten into this area, and I"m excited! In case you guys didn't know, there's a relaxation swap that's being discussed. I think all of these would be awesome for that! Smiley

The ice cube portions are great. You can toss a few in at different places for a bath. OR clean out that old dishpan and give yourself the yummiest foot bath ever! Just takes one of that size. But it's an easy way to pamper yourself without the time of a full bath.

Oooh and it tickles!

the recipe for bath bombs seems quite simple.  I've been thinking about making bath products as Christmas gifts this year, so I'll have to give this a shot! Smiley
