The PBS shows are pretty good (the early ones are better than the later ones) but the BOOKS are fabulous....go down to your library and check out The Code of the Woosters, and prepare to giggle, laugh, smile, and snort all the way through. Much of the first season on PBS was, if I recall correctly, based on Code of the Woosters.

I think I was always intimidated as english is not my first language.  But I got better through the years so on the to library we go!

Yeah, I think it would be a good idea.  Problem is: I'm going to be on holiday near the end of August, so I might have to get someone to fill in organising for a week if we're sending out after then

To be honest, I've only read a couple of the short stories (and Cocktail Time), but I've seen repeats of the TV series with Fry and Laurie over and over
