I got inspired by looking at Elegant Gothic Lolita sites one day and went out to buy an XL men's t-shirt, 3 yards of black t-shirt fabric (I was going to buy t-shirts to make the skirts instead but the fabric was $2/yard!), 3 yards of lace, grommets, and 5 metres of ribbon. This is what I came up with (sorry about the bad quality; I thought that I didn't need flash when I took the photos but it turns out that I did, so I had to play around in Photoshop to lighten them up):

Oh yeah, and I used a removable bra strap for the strap.   Smiley

Very cute, though I have to say it doesn't flatter your bed as much as it does you.  Wink

Rad! That's too cool! So you didn't have a pattern or anything? How long did it take to make?

Cuteness! If I'd ever attempted something like that I'd probably end up with a lacy potholder.  Grin
