I found this skirt at my grandma's... it wasn't finished, and it was huge!  I just added elastic to the top and left it the way it was...  I think I'm going to stencil it though... when I do I'll post that picture...

Do you know what I think would be awesome on this skirt? (If you don't, stop reading now because here it comes!)

Someone on here put traditional henna designs on pants, and I think this skirt would be gorgeous with something like that along the bottom. Maybe white or even gold for a dressier feel.

that sounds like an awesome idea...  i'll probably use white... i'm not a fan of gold, but i think white would be very pretty.  **Off to find henna designs...

thats a great skirt.  ive wanted to make a long skirt like that out of plaid material.  was it easy to make?  if its not too much trouble can u tell me how you made it?  thanks.
