Supplies:

Cardboard Craft Box (walmart 1.98)
 Bright Magenta Craft paint (.47)
rainbow Ribbon - one yard(.57 yd)
Bright Daisy- (.50 dollar store)
Elmer's Glue

First I painted the box magenta.  I put on 3 coats, just to get it the right shade of pink.  I used a sponge paint brush so it went on very smooth.  Since I painted it with a sponge it dried very quickly

Then I lined the top and bottom with the rainbow ribbon, gluing it as I went.  Then allowed that to dry

Finally I cut off the stem of the gerber daisy and guled the daisy on the top

Voila!  A beautiful box Cheesy

That is really cute! You can make all different colors according to the colors of the daisies.
Nice job.

Very cute box. Made me remember an idea I had years ago to make a daisy box for an engagement present... painting it light yellow, and gluing white silk daisies on the lid, with a few loose petals. Around the side of the lid or the side of the box, I wanted to write, "He loves me. He loves me. He loves me."

I have two friends who just got engaged... hmm, better get cracking.
