Not sure if you knitters/crocheters have heard of this, but the international health organization Save the Children is putting out an APB for baby hats. These hats are used to conserve crucial body heat for at-risk newborns in the developing world.

I saw this online a little while back.  I dont have much free time but i plan to put those old circle knitting looms to work because they make quick easy baby hats in a couple of hours.

Great idea. I've never used the looms but am glad to hear they make short work of baby hats!
