TheWench: The pattern is in post 14  Smiley ... the only change I made when making the blue/purple rug was to use three strands of yarn, an N hook and then I added extra rounds to the outside edging to make it the size I wanted. If you have any questions feel free to PM me I'm always willing to help in any way

LoL, I juuuust saw that. I think it was really late when I was surfing craftster and was just going through new posts w/ pics and just got too excited. Smiley I'll have to give this a try after work. Thank you!

Proud new owner of a Baby Lock 400!  Any advice for the newbie? PM

I don't know ... but I have made it with three strands of worsted held together and added rounds to make a nice thick rug  Smiley  So I would think plarn would work well .. post a pic if you decide to try it

Solitaire, I have been dying to show you what I made with your pattern ...

I made them for the Four Elements Swap, so there is one for Fire, Air, Water and Earth (with appropriate gemstone and colored ribbon attached.)  I used 10/thread and maybe a 0 hook (or maybe a 3?!).  They ended up being perfectly sized to be Yule ornaments.  I did make an error on the Fire one (there is a row missing in the star part, but it still worked out, just a bit smaller).  And I also did 15 stitches in the circle part instead of 20.  I totally enjoyed making them and plan one crocheting a set for every Witch I know ... starting with myself, of course!

Thanks so much for posting your pattern and providing the inspiration for one of my better projects!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

Phnx! Those are absolutely gorgeous beyond words. I have been wanting to make them up in thread, but haven't had time yet to do so! You have just given me the inspiration to make them for my own Yule tree.

Blessings
