I had a look at your blog and you were looking for away to make them have a bit of grip - puffy fabric paint that comes inthose little tinny bottles works well.

that's a good idea! I just applied some to his slippers. I'll update tomorrow when it dries and he gets to try them out on the tile. the othr day he fell like twice. he didn't really mind, but I don't imagine it was fun.

good luck, everyone making the slippers!

Thanks for posting a pattern!  I'll have to make some for my 10 year old son (in men's size 9 1/2!!!) with baseballs on them.  He loves slippers, but doesn't have any right now!

what would you suggest sizewise for a 6 week old girl? I want to make her some of these and was wondering if you've made them smaller? I would say she's about a infants size 1-2.

BTW, if you want to make these slippers non-skid, try using puffy fabric paint and putting small dots all over the bottom. once it dries they are able to grip the floor alot better. saves sewing on leather to the bottoms.
