This would be a rather tme consuming swap. I make this style of doll rather fast, and it takes me usually around a month. In the school craft fairs they tend to go for around $60 to $120 (Canadian), so the time asked to be put in would be heavy. These dolls are supposed to be works of art from the heart. It wouldn't be just for children too. I know many people my age (late teens/early 20s), and my mums age who are very much in love with these dolls.

some examples I've seen on here of this style of dollmaking:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79489.0 (with half a tutorial)

The official homeschooler's website (with articles about the dolls):
http://www.waldorfhomeschoolers.com/waldorfdolls.htm

The link on that site is all wonky, but I got to the page it points to, so the Tutorial:
http://webarchive.afsc.org/doll/doll.htm

Other people who sell online o_O

http://www.babysbestdesigns.com/peppadolls.html
http://www.achildsdream.com/creative_play/waldorf_dolls.htm
http://www.waldorftreasures.com/waldorfdolls/kathekrusewaldorfdolls/germanbabydolls/germanbabydolls.htm

also typing "Waldorf Doll" into the ebay search engine will give you more examples.

So, is anyone interested?

Edited to fix tutorial link, and to add that I've got a couple of my other dolls on my textiles website under "Baby Dolls"

I am new to craftser so if you tell me how this works, I am all over it.

I especially like to make wacky mermaids, but those are usually for older kids.

For swaps you need to be a member for at least a month and have at least 15 posts. It's best if you have one of your projects posted too so your partner can get an idea of your style, but I don't think that's part of the swap requirements.

easy enough.  after I get through with what I am on, then I can post some pics.  Thanks!

I think I was thinking I was on a sew along site.  But swapping is good too!
