This is my first time posting clothes I've made. I would have sooner except that it is now that I finally have digital camera. I realized I don't have enough summery clothes (I used to hate them and I'd just wear jeans, I was crazy) so of course I had to make some.

This dress is McCall's 4826 (which I know tons of people on here have made).

The shirt looks rather unflattering here, but normally it doesn't. Sometimes it just hangs that way and it's a bad photo. The shirt is New Look 6599. The skirt is a copy of an anthropologie skirt.

I just realized you can't tell what is going on with the bottom of the skirt, so here is more detail, though not much better I admit.

This skirt looks so much better really, you can see a fan in the background and I think it was affecting it. I just made this one up.

Blue version of the green shirt. I just happened to have the fabric and it seemed like such a good shirt for the summer so why not have more. They were so quick and easy.

I'd love to hear what you think.

You are obviously a very talented seamstress and designer.  I would want to make every single one of those items (if I had the talent and courage).  All of those are my style - comfortable and CLASSIC and easy - but pretty!!!  GREAT CLOTHES!!!  I'M VERY JEALOUS!!!   Wink

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Very nice!  I was thinking of getting that newlook pattern, but now I'm definitly getting it.

It is one of the most useful patterns I ever bought. I made one of the other styles too, a short sleeved one with the tie up back. I'd like to make all of them eventually.
