This may have been the fastest project I've ever done.  Yay instant gratification!  I used Paton Divine denim storm and Red Heart Symphony charcoal (I think it was charcoal, but it may have been taupe).  They're super tiny, and I don't know whether they will actually fit a baby, but they sure are cute!

I agree - they are cute!
And they look soooo soft too.

If they are too small for a baby - use them as "dangly things" to hang off the inside car mirror.

That's what I told the mother to do with them if they don't fit!

The yarn was really hard to knit with since it kept sticking to itself (it's really fibery), but they turned out really soft so it seems to be worth it!

I'm the mother!!   Grin

I think they will fit but I like the idea of hanging them from the rear view mirror as well so if they dont fit its no problem!!  They look sooo soft and I cant wait to touch them!!  What a lucky spoiled little boy I am having!  Thanks!!!!

Great moms deserve spoiled babies (someone has to do it since you would never spoil your own child! Wink)

Although Miss Lima would look adorable in little kitty booties, I'm not sure how to make them stay on a cat.  Also,  since the yarn is so fibery, I would hate to see what blue furballs would look like!  Maybe Lima needs a sweater or a hat?

Thought you all might get a kick out of this:
I have the picture of the booties saved to the desktop of my parents' computer.  I guess my brother saw it (titled booties2) and opened it.  I then notice, days later, that he's changed the name of the file to "booties2----this title is misleading, late at night".  I guess he was expecting a sexy, half-naked girl all bent over?
