I got a plain blue shirt from the crafts store, and used the element symbol to make my own ( the element shirt I bought at PAc Sun cost me 22.50, wow.

Thanks! I thought I'd try and make my own, since the real ones are a little bit  expensive.

Did you freehand that onto your shirt? I'm making a Roxy one, and I was planning on either spray painting or painting it with acrylics, but either way I would use a stencil. How did you get yours so perfect looking?

Yup, I free-handed it.... Um I'm pretty good at drawing, so that probably helped. I just took my time, and made sure that it was all even.   Good~ Luck With your shirt.

If you want to make one like the ones they sell in stores. The classic one:

Its pretty easy. Just make a stencil of a square, paint it red, let it dry.
Then make the actuall symbol stencil and paint it white over the red square. If you see that its still kind of reddish.. keep layering the white over top till its white.  I did it for my bro and myself, you can't even tell the difference between the actual element shirt (39.99$) and the "stenciled" element shirt (5$).

Do you skateboard by the way? Just curious. Wanted to know if there where any fellow female skateboarding craftsters on here.

I used the same pic of the element sign that you posted. It was a tag on my shirt  Smiley
But instead of doing a stencil ( i lack the certain materials ) I decided to use my hands, and some fabric paint, lol.   I do skateboard, but not that I'm good or anything.
