I like to make crazy patchworks. Here is a bag that I made few months ago. Some of the fabrics I used are recycled and the rest are some useless small pieces I had. Buttons, ribbons, beads and stuff like that are also somethings I happened to have or bought from second-hand stores.

Wow! This bag is awesome ... I like the black with all the colorful contrasts! Crazy quilts are cool, but a crazy quilt purse is even cooler  Wink

I love crazy patch! I've been thinking about making a purse from crazy patch myself. It's so cool how everyone could make one and they would all turn out different.
Yours looks great!

Ok, now this makes me want to learn to quilt. Looks like something someone less crafty then thou would shell out quite a bit for from a hip store  Smiley

EDIT: Ok, my mom peeked over my shoulder and told me that the bag is something I could accomplish with my limited skills. Do you think you could do a quick tut?  I'd love you forever!  Smiley

Velour: I found this page very usefull when I was learning crazy quilting. http://www.caron-net.com/classes/classmayfiles/clasmay1.html

And your mom was right, you don't have to have any special skills to do crazy quilting. In fact, if you want to try some new techniques, crazy quilts are good for that. I've been practicing embroidery stitches on my projects. And it's also a great way to get rid of small left over pieces of fabric.
