It would be really cool if you could make dice that were weighted to always throw high or low numbers.  I know that is possible, but it would be totally a make it up as you go thing if I did it. Wait a minute, you could put a little weight inside the die and then it would always land on that bit - so the opposite would come up -  They do that don't they?  I'm remembering the movie _Grifters_ where John Cusack is cheating at dice that way - he has a magnet in the sleeve of his coat...

Mine asked if I could make him a d20 for Magic. I just laughed.

They're not all even, which I though would be good. I mean, they probably made the dice on the Dutchman, just not out of polymer clay.

I just rolled a fat snake, squashed all four sides to make it cube-ish, cut them into equal sections with a polymer blade, and shaped them individually from there. I drew the dots with a broken DPN and painted them using a bamboo skewer (I have a huge package of them from Dollar General). 'S easy!

Why yes, I do!

I received today from our soon-to-depart organizer, CosmicCranberry. I was only able to get one photo before my camera's battery went kaput, so without further ado ...

Pirate swag!

At the top, you see a lovely bag all stitched up pirate-like. It has a dashed line on the other side to represent a treasure map. Fuzzily adorning the bag is a fun fur scarf, which is pretty piratey indeed. (I tried to take a photo of it on my head because I was being goofy, but that was the point at which the battery pooped out.) At the bottom is a bright red wrist cuff. I haven't taken it off since I opened the package! And finally, a fun crocheted bag for extra pirate booty.

I switched bags while I was at home for lunch today — the crocheted bag works great for all the little things that usually float around my bag, and the big bag has enough room for a large paperback book to fit with all of my usual stuff.

Woo, pirates! Thanks, CC!

tinxerb377 received and said I could post pictures.

I send a crocheted purse with a picture of jack sparrow on it, a couple of buttons, a beaded hair thingy, and a pirate themed learn to embroider kit. I also made a couple of jack sparrow patches she can put on something to make it more pirate-y.

Sorry for the lousy pics, maybe tinxerb377 can post better ones?
