Anyone wanna make some kids clothes along w/ me?

I'm planning on making my 3yr old a wrap dress using this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=81857.0

Also planning on making my infant son an outfit for christmas time(doing it now so i don't forget.  Grin ) Using this pattern: http://store.sewingtoday.com/cgi-bin/butterick/shop.cgi?s.item.B5896=x&TI='5896'&page=1
I'm gonna make the footed jumper and hat like the baby on the pattern pic is wearing.

Anyone in?  Smiley

oh oh i wanna! i just have to get some fabric.
i want to make some summer clothes for my son: some jumpers and onesies; maybe some t-shirts and pants.... but i dont know if i can get a pattern for them, i was really thinking about making my own from clothes he has that dont fit.
And after seing this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=109037.0 it just made me want to have a girl to make her some dresses but i dont lol but i have a friend that has a 3yr old, maybe i can sew along with you and make something for her little girl.
would it still count as a sew along?

the thing is that i dont have the economy this week for the fabric so i can get it until next week.  Huh

Okay I got ambitious, and decided to go ahead to cut&sew the little wrap dress for my 3 yr old.  Well, I screwed up.  Tongue  I used a shirt of hers to get the back outline, but I forgot to leave off some length of the shirt pattern, so it was super long, and didn't realize it until i had most of it sewn together.  So I had to cut and cut and cut, so its no longer a wrap dress, sigh.  Oh well, I'm gonna finish it this week, I have to wait til she gets back from grandma's house so I can hem the length and do the sleeves.   Smiley

my daughter is 3, and the dress was long enough for a 6 yr old.  And when i mean length i mean the bodice length, it would've been down to her hips lol.  Cheesy

This may be a good time to get some of my DD's school clothes started.  She has been begging for skirts (she thinks I never sew for her, but half her clothes are my design! I am just taking a month off to sew for me.

I will post when I get some done! thanks for the motivation.
