These are really simple basket type things made out of a piece of paper. I find that little kids enjoy making them, and they're handy if you're working with several kids and making a bunch of little crafts (That they can carry around in these baskets! =D)

1. Make a little crease in the middle of  your piece of paper (I made a mark, so you can see what I'm talking about)

2. Fold both sides into the middle, where your crease is.

3. Fold the corners in, leaving about 1cm in the middle

4. It should look like this after you fold all 4 corners:

5. Fold your centimeter flaps onto the corners

6. Grab the middle on both sides and pull it open (I could only do one side since I was takin pictures)

7. Crease the basket in necessary spots, so it stays open and rectangular. You can use a little elmers glue or tape to keep the top edges down.  Then cut out a strip of paper and glue on for a handle. Ta da!

Cute!  That so just brought back memories of elementary school art class!  We made stuff like that all the time!  Even little paper balls that could be blown up and stuff.  FUN!  Grin

Ooooh I remember making those paper balls! I did them when I got bored in class  Roll Eyes I do remember making these for our valentines day party. We carried our valentines in them to put in everyone else's mail box (which we also got to make and decorate) I wish we could still do that kind of stuff.
