Wonderful swirls! I'm very much a beginner but I love making the swirls and have one piece that color wise looks much like the 3rd photo (though not quite as nice). Thank you so much for sharing your lovely work. I'm very curious to see the technique you mention.

Fimo soft you say?

I've met this girl from Porto in FIA (Lisbon), but she made jewelry with beads and gemstones... she was really, really nice!

I'm quite a disaster with Fimo, I have the only talent for knitting and that's all.
Maybe we'll meet in some craft fair one day! If I ever heard of one, I'll PM you

macabrechaos, do you mean actual sculpture, or do you just mean alll kinds of polymer clay stuff?   

(What you'd like to do does have some effect on the cost, as well as sizes you're interested in, etc.... you could get into plain sculpting, for example, with just a box of SuperSculpey or the new gray Firm Sculpey --or other brands of bulk polymer clay-- for just about $10 plus a toothpick, a few items from around the house, and a home oven & cheapie oven thermometer.)
