my first post, gee whiz.  this is a bag i embroidered using an aunt martha's design.  the bag was one of those premade decorate-as-you-wish ones.  it was made kind of silly, with a wide opening on the top and sides so i made a little drawstring bag to put inside.  keep all my lipgloss tubes from tumbling out of the sides...

thanks for the compliments!  the pattern is one of the days of the week ones (3771-hooty owls).  i think that sometimes with those patterns the picture on the cover is not that exciting looking, but then if you try it out, they are way cute.  also, the little test pattern owl with this set is adorable (almost cuter than the regular owls).  he is actually on the back of this purse, but i didn't take a pic of him.  thanks for the nice welcome to craftster!!

oh my god!  this just gave me the cutest flashback!  my mom taught me to embroider when I was about ten on this exact transfer!  I like that you made a bag of it.  I found my owls (we sewed a bunch of owls) the other day, maybe I could make something cute like this out of it!  anyways, yes... this looks really great!

I bought those same transfers about six or so months ago - I love owls Smiley I agree, the test owl is the cutest! I embroidered him first and he's still my favorite! Good job on your owl!

Really cute and really well done. Did you just use stem and satin stitch?
