My homestay sister from Japan sent me a really cool book with patterns to make felt mascots. This is my first attempt at putting one together. It's about 4 inches tall or so. I just finshed another one in pink!

かわいいと思います。 Cheesy

By my feet for some height perspective.

The original cutie.

Yah, the Japanese patterns are so much cuter than ours. The book this little item came from was actually for children! which means that it was totally on my reading level. hah. My Japanese isn't that great.

Anyway, thanks for all the pos comments, guys  Smiley

Here is the book where the pattern came from:

It has an interesting mix of patterns. My next project is to make all these little rabbits and kittens in kimonos!  Cheesy

BeePea: I'm not sure what kind of eyes these are - because when I opened the package I threw it away and transferred all the eyes into a zip-lock baggie. I would think that they aren't "safety" eyes though because they are really small and hard plastic, and obviously not good for little kids. Next time I go to Michael's I'll see what they are called.
