the first candles i've ever made.  coffee scented of course

a coffee stuffie i made on a whim the day i mailed to her.  lol

a wooden picture frame painted gold, with coffebeans glued on and then clearcoated with triple thick

and the necklace i made her out of typewriter keys.  spells coffee

there was also a cd of coffee songs.

List:
1) No Pressure Over Coffee - alanis morissette
2) Black Coffee - All saints
3) Black Coffee in Bed - squeeze
4) Coffee and TV - Blur
5) One more cup of coffee - Bob dylan
6) You're So vain - carly simon
7) Clouds in my coffee - Carly Simon
8.) Coffee - copeland
9) Wake up and smell the coffee - cranberries
10) Cup of Cofee - garbage
11) You were meant for me - jewel
12) Coffee break - mew
13) Coffee and Cigarettes - michelle featherstone
14) Another cup of coffee - Mike and the Mechanics
15) Coffee Shop - Red hot chili Peppers
16) Two beds and a coffee machine - savage garden
17) Everyday is a winding road - Sheryl Crow
18) One more cup of coffee - White Stripes

All of these songs were complied by my good friend David Sadof ( www.myspace.com/thelastdj )

Yall should check him out.  sorry.  shameless plug.  ^^

Prepare. To Be. Jealous.

I am blown away by Me-Shell's package. I got it today, and my jaw dropped. I love everything!

Here's an all-together pic:

The front of the beautifully decorated box, which reads "There is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea" Ralph Waldo Emerson:

Inside of box and lovely notebook:

Crappy picture (my hands are too shaky) of two great purses/pouches filled with raw sugar and tea. As well as some lavender from her mother's garden (I love all things lavender):

A set of great coasters with vintage images, which I totally needed for my new coffee table!:

Close up:

And she also included a fab package of chocolate espresso biscotti that I didn't get a chance to take pics of before the boy grabbed them to try!

I hope I did this right - it's my first time posting pics. Also, Me-Shell, feel free to post better pics, as I'm definitely not a pro Smiley

THANK YOU!!

well i am beyond stoked that lol stein loved my package so much!!!! Grin

i think i drove everyone crazy talking about the swap....boyfriend, friends, co-workers...not to mention my poor mother.  i gave them updates every day on what i was crafting and said "i really hope she doesn't think this is lame."  they gave me reassurance, but you know how that goes...paranoid.

so i have breathed a very deep sigh of relief.
so glad you liked everything!!!!!
i'm totally making those coasters for several different people now. (including a set for myself, naturally.) i think that your pictures are better than the set i took.

also....icebyrd...great ideas in the package you sent!!
i love the typewriter key necklace...my mom just bought me a pair of earrings made with typewriter keys and i love them!

I recieved from heyleslee today!  it made me so happy!  i ripped the box open while driving to work.  it was hard and i nearly wrecked my car but it was worth it!

GROUP SHOT!  Starting from the top left (clockwise), a wristlet that's soooo pretty!  i've already jammed all my things into it.  ^^, a tin of tea, a little stuffie shaped like a coffee bean, a pincushion box, a black, red and hot pink cup insulator, a tin of white tea, and finally a very beautiful card of which will be used in a collage.  ^^

Blurry closeup of the wristlet!

Pincushion box

tea that smells heavenly!

most great smelling tea!

Cup insulator!

sorry the pictures are so blurry! and dark.  i'll get better ones in the morning!

~jules

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH HEYLESLEE!

icebyrd67--I adore that coffee typewriter key necklace you made. It would look great for a bracelet too. Where did you find the typewriter keys?

I would like to join a round 4 if I have time, so I will be watching for it.

i've made bracelets and earrings out of those keys before as well.  i got them from michaels.  you can also rip them off of old typewriters but that takes too much time for me.  haha

PrincessBlueberry sent me an absolutely amazing package last weekend, but unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture, I was helping my boyfriend move - I will this weekend... PrincessBlueberry, if you have a picture, please feel free to post it...

She sent me: (and I'm not home right now, so excuse me if I've forgotten anything):

1. A knitted mug warmer. Extra-cool cause I can't knit at all!
2. A mug to go with the mug-warmer.
3. A fantastic zip pouch with a smiley face on it. (That's a terrible job describing it - it has appliqued eyes and mouth on a coffe-colored base.) Zip pouches are fantastic, they help me be organized!
4. Yummy coffee soap!!!! (This smelled so good, I wanted to eat it.) She sent me both tiny single-use soap, and a larger bar. I love soap!!! I've already used one of the single-use ones, and I loved how my hands smelled after!
5. A flowered pin in coffee colors, which I now need to make a bag so I can pin onto.
6. 3 - seriously - count them - 3 bags of coffee. One Godiva, one from a local coffee-place, whose name I can't remember, and a third.
Hopefully, I didn't forget anything!

PrincessBlueberry, thanks a million. You totally went above and beyond, this was a fantastic package!

Photobucket is being a butt and resizing so you can not see the comentary  Undecided

~the smiley thing is Cocoa the coffeebean. . .he is a zipper pouch  Cheesy
~mug warmer doubles as a cuff or a crochet cup of 'steamy/frothy' coffee
~individuial coffee soaps (not pictures I put some scraps into a muslin bag for a scrubby, which was added as an afterthaught, the DH is now adicted to the coffee soap scrubby   Cool)
There is only one cup and one cuff. . .I just wanted to show their many uses Smiley

And here they are!

That's what the box looked like!  So big and I loved peeling back the brown paper to reveal what was inside!

And here are the contents!  Everything is great... I love the colours of the notebook, I have already used the facecloth (perfect for going away in the weekend!), the cards are so cute I don't think I can ever use them!  The little tea bag man is adorable.  There's so much tea in there I can't wait to try, and chocolate!!  Although I cracked up at that Kahlua bar - it says "solid milk chocolate" on it, but unfortunately the day I picked up the parcel it was about 28 degrees, so the chocolate wasn't very solid at all!  Hurrah for Spring Smiley

Thanks rockstr009, it's such an incredible package and well worth the wait!
