i'd say to work with the darts.
if it were me, i'd treat it as if it was a reconstruction and just try and take it in however I could.  on the sides or something.  at the seams.
but i have sizing issues with patterns a lot as well.
on a side note, i really like the fabric.

Hi,
Nice modifications on this dress. I would take in the side seams above and below the waist. Taper below the hips down to nothing.
Length looks good. Make sure the sleeves are not long and draggy.

I  also wanted to chime in how cute this looks- great fabric!

It looks good even without the sleeves, too!

Good luck with the alterations, and don't forget to let us see the final piece!

The dress is wonderful!  And a real lesson in perseverance for the rest of us  Wink because I don't think I've seen a thread on craftster cover quite the timeline that yours has.   Cheesy
Congratulations on your beautiful dress - I'm betting you'll get many happy years of wearing from it.

I really love this pattern, and in fact have it in my collection.... Thanks for showing the pics of yours and mentioning the "troubles" you encountered! The finished one looks FAB on you!
