Why are my posts always about dogs? *sigh* I need a life...

I'm going to this girls-only  dog rescue volunteer thank-you party next weekend and needed a gift for the exchange. I decided to make a "diva kit" for the lucky girl and her dog.

It includes:

Chocolates for her Queen
And fancy carob truffles from the Three Dog Bakery for the Queen's dog.

An sleep mask which I'll make
and a smaller doggie sized sleep mask (for laughs, of course)

A tiara (Child size tiaras are only like 3.50 at walmart right now!!)
A breast cancer awareness collar (because every diva should be socially aware)

And maybe more.. I just haven't thought of it yet.

What would one put in a pirate kit I wonder...

speaking of which.. i just started one (for the boy's birthday, this time)
here is my newly finished TREASURE CHEST.

i am going to make a treasure map that leads to it, and hide it in his house after he leaves for work.
in addition to several things already mentioned in this thread, i think it will come with some of the following goodies:

- an etched jar labelled "XX RUM XX", probably filled with tea
- oranges (for scurvy prevention)
- pirate dagger
- gems & pirate coins (clay.. any suggestions for a sweet design?)

That chest is awesome!!

Just a note, doesn't Oriental Trading carry chocolate coins? That's the booty I'd be digging for!

Noelle, heres the link to some Pirate medalions I made myself out of sculpey. They're based on the ones in Pirates of the Carribean.

This is so cool! I really know a lot of people who could use their own Princess Kit. Thanks!

Fantastic!
