Self-Stripping Socks for Mom!

Here they are my first completed handknit socks!  They were very fun to make.  I have made other socks but never a pair.  I always stop after the first sock!!!  LOL!!!  The stripping is a little off, varies from sock to sock, you can notice it especially in the heel area.   I didn't use a self-stripping pattern, just a regular pattern and that is probably the problem there.  They are merino wool and very warm.  I actually finished them 2 months ago, but just became a craftsters member so I had to post them.  Thanx for looking.

I was suprised how much I like the self-stripping socks.  I went out and bought some more self-stripping yarn mostly white with small grey and green flecks.  Part of the fun is site unseen finding out what the pattern will look like.  Very, very addictive.  The next pair is for me!
