I totally agree with dmcay, one must not trivialize the awesomeness of this hoodie.  Keep on sewing I can't wait to see what new original thing you come up with next!

That's really cool, & very creative. I'd probably buy that if it wasn't up to $80. Cheesy

dumb question (i've never sewn a top or a hoodie, though i want a few cute ones before i go off to college)

did you start with a hoodie or did you start with stretchy cotton material (i love the color, by the way)

i guess it's not under 'reconstruction'...

did you have a pattern?

again - pardon the ignorance.

it's adorable, though!! very nicely done!!!

Shocked completely flabbergasted! I know you are selling this, but I want to know how you made it!! Maybe not a complete tutorial, just how you did the neck line!

Definitely not your average hoodie. I love the drapey lacing in the front!

And no such thing as sewing too much. ;-)

its relatively easy to find in levin. just drive down the main street untill you've past all the shops then cross the traintracks and turn right, its a purple building that cant be missed lol. they've got a huge sale on till friday  with all the fabric from $1 a metre.

Like everyone else I think this hoodie is fantastic! It's so pretty! Casual yet the lace and accents make it a bit formal.

How much did it finally sell for? (last I saw it was at $80!)
