I made this one day for my sewing and crafting needs.  It is based on the chatelaines the Victorian ladies used back at the turn of the 20th century.

This is the whole thing, I even have a neat pocket watch attached:

Hi,

Well, I buy most of my trinkets in cheap jewelry from the dollar store.  Most.  The rest are just picked up here and there.  If you are talking about the charms.  The needle case is actually the left over container for X-acto blades.  I poked a hole in the top and bottom and threaded it on sorta like a bead.  I also use nylon-covered fishing lure steel line.  I find that it makes it much less easier to break.  You have to use crimp beads when you use the line, though, it doesn't tie.  The thread holder, I used the bar part of a bar-and-ring clasp, that keeps the spool from falling off.  I also made a pin cushion, not shown, from a soda bottle screw-on cap.  Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.  And thank you very much for the compliment.  The chatelaine is quite handy, as a matter of fact.

Whoa!  Very pretty and supermega useful.  You ought to make extra and go to a fabric store and sell the heck out of them.
