Cheesy thanks you're so nice! I think I love you too! I'm doing the tut right now so you'll be abble to have the best syle too! Talking about their style, I'm mentally preparing myself to make another vest inspired by one of Brendon's vest!

Now, onto the tutorial:

You first need to make your pattern. For the measurements, you can use a tee-shirt that fits you well but remember that it shouldn't be too tight and don't forget to add the sewing allowance. The different pieces of the pattern have those shapes:

Piece 1: The front part wich is cut two times (the second one is a mirror-image of the first one). The purplish line on the piece represent what shape I used fro the pinstripe previously shown. The black one is where you cut the pattern to get the piece 2. You just tape them back together after having copied it.

Piece 2: This is a renforcement of the front part. Cut as the piece 1.

Piece 3: The back part wich is cut one time on the fold of the fabric.

First  of all, hem piece 2 here:

Then, sew piece 1 to piece 2 but don't sew the part you just hemed.

Cut 3/4 of the sewing allowance, turn upside down and iron as shown on the picture.

Topsitch all around the two front piece

Hem the collar part and the armholes of the piece 3.

Sew the shoulders and then the sides.

Put it on and make adjustments if necessary. I add to make the armholes tighter and two back darts one mine.

Make buttonholes and sew buttons or anything else to attach your pinstripe.

Add lace, flowers, etc and you're finished!

My second homemade pinstripe! It's not completely finished, I still have other flowers to put on it .

I hope I made this clear enough. Feel free to ask me all the questions you want!

lol.  Yeah, I never really did, until I discovered THE ONE AND ONLY RYAN ROSS! haha.  I guess I'm just that obsessed...seriously, my style has definately changed because of Panic!.

BTW - thanks for who posted how to sew the vest - as soon as I can get past sewing crappy arm socks, I'll totally use that as a guide! =)
