This is genius.  What a great idea!  I just need to find something similar that can fit a super-size tampon... Hmmm.

I'm trying to think of stuff for you & others who read, who need something a lil' larger...

If you use the kind with a cardboard applicator, then the only thing I can think of would be a travel toothbrush holder.  But that would be conspicuous, which defeats our purpose. I'll think on that... and anyone who uses this kind, should think about switching!  Wink

As for OB-style, but larger of course... um. Not as sturdy as the Bonne Bell, but still an option... a paper roll for quarters (or possibly nickels)! You know the kind you roll them in, to exchange for paper money?
And our $ stores carry those lipstick cases, with the tiny mirror and just enough room for a tampon! That's what I used for a long time, until my purse got stolen a few years ago.

I'm still with the brainstorming here... Grin

Edited to add: How about one of these?
It's an M&M's mini container. Sorry the pic is so small, I couldn't find a better one. The only drawback I can think of is having people (who don't know) ask you for some candy!

That is *sooo* awesome! Now, if only I used ob tampons... I'm not sure if the m&m's container would be quite big enough for one with an aplicator, but it's a good idea anyways! Smiley

That's such a great idea! I don't carry a purse with me in school, because everyone just carries their backpacks with them to every class. I can't be bringing my backpack with me to the bathroom during the middle of class (or be pulling a big, obvious tampon out of my backpack), so that would be great. But like Gwynevere said, if only I used ob tampons! The m&ms container could probably fit this kind: http://www.tampax.com/products.php?id=17,though!

That is cool, but I only use Tampax Pearl... So Any ideas to disguise it?

I agree. It's the best.

I am definitely making myself some, although I almost can't bear to give up a lipsmacker.

Great idea, plus I use those tampons too!

WHAT IF you whip a chapstick out to lend, and it is really... A TAMPON!

Hmmm...just saw that someone posted something ('new replies to your posts'), and it got me thinking...

A waterbottle? One of those ones where it isn't clear would probably hold any size you could need. But again, it might be awkward to carry that to the bathroom, unless you casually walk away carrying it... lol

Haha, I definitely have to try that. O.B. tampons are so discreet already, but it's always a bit akward to try and sneak one into your pocket in public. ;]
Now I just have to clean out one of my many chap sticks. That could be a problem..

I love this idea even if I wouldn't use it myself.

Some ideas for not mixing up tampon-chapstick and real chapstick might be so use a diffrent brand then you usually use on your lips or to put a sticker on it or something.
