The best darn tampon holder ever!

Ok, I hate to pat myself on the back, but this idea is, as far as I'm concerned, a stroke of genius.


just an ordinary chapstick, right?


heck no! It's a tampon holder in disguise!



I had this chapstick sitting around for ages.. I liked it, but it went through the wash and was totally unusable. So I used Q-tips and pulled the remaining chapstick goop out and the thing that holds it, then cleaned out the inside.
But there was still the stick in the middle that you twist the chapstick up and down with. So I tried to pull it out with needlenose pliers... no good. I got half of it out.
I clamped it down, got a flathead screwdriver and wedged it in between the main tube and the ribbing twisting thing at the bottom, and pried. It came off along with the stick and you can see above the small hole that's left. Perfect just in case the tampon gets stuck.

It holds a small OB tampon and probably the medium size as well, though I haven't tried, and is perfect for times when it would be awkward to take a purse to the bathroom or to just pull out a tampon. Very discreet- as far as everyone else knows, you're just getting some chapstick!

That IS genius. Very nice idea. Would be a bit suspicious if you have 9879487 tubes of "chapstick" at once. LOL. I know, I know!!! You just slip one in there when needed. It was a joke

That is a wonderful idea... I would have never thought of that. It seems like it would be perfect when youre in a crowded place and whipping out a tampon would just be awkward. :-)

I never wear tampons but that's genius! =D Very great for chicks that barely started their period and are too embarassed to try to sneak tampons to the bathroom! XD

TO funny! I can't tell you how many times I've whipped a tampon out of my pocket, because I thought I had some chapstick. That can get you some weird looks...
