Wow!  I love those!  Did you use a pattern or did you just whip 'em up yourself?  My sister's been bugging me for opera length arm warmers so she can wear tshirts in the winter, and those look perfect!

I have ADD when it comes to writting down a pattern...sorry if this gets confusing...

grab 4 size 9 dpn and cast on 32

seperate 10 on 2 needls and 12 onthe last * the cable is going to use all 12 stistes on this needle and when i refer to the Cable Needle this is the one im talking about*

start with a 2x2 ribbing for around a inch and a half

* the two stitches before the cabling needle should be purls...

then knit 12

purl the 2 stitches after the needle*

do this for 6 rows

now time for the cable...

hold 3 sitches in front of work and kni tthe next three then knit the three you held in front

then right after that hold 3 stitches in back knit the next three and then knit the three you held in back

continue with waht I said between * and *  till you have the length you want

Thumb hole

knit till you get the the last 5 stitches before the cable needle and turn work

work back and forth for six rows * dont forget to cable*

when you have the right side facing you again knit to the thumb hole and pass the next stitch over knit one pass slipped stitch over and make one stitch...

continue on the round for 4 rows
finish with a 2 x 2 rib again...and bind off...

for the other hand just place the thumb hole onthe other side of the wrist warmer..

OMG I hope that all makes since I SUCK at writting patterns down!

Wonderful! My office is freezing (way too much AC), so these will be perfect. Thanks for writing down a pattern!
