I made this for my neighbor to give at a baby shower for a friend of hers.  The yarn is Moda Dea 'Dream', which is my favorite novelty yarn so far! (Along with some other soft pink baby yarn)

I didn't have a pattern, so I probably couldn't make it exactly the same again if I tried!

Thanks...I realize that a lot of people around here are put off by the cutsey stuff, so I was reluctant to post it.  That's why I put it in this topic and not the crochet board.  I figured everyone has at least one friend who is pregnant and prefers frilly frou-frou over goth for their baby!  Smiley

your set is totally beautiful and I'm sure will be treasured and put away to be passed down to her  own children. I love the yarn's texture-great job! PS-babies are meant to be cutsie Wink

Thanks so much!

Dream is my favorite of the 'hairy' yarns because it is so super soft when worked up, and the hair strands DO NOT come out.  I haven't had any of it come out, at least in the projects I've used it on thus far.  It is also a bit easier to rip out if you make a mistake than some of those monster furry ones.

The strands not coming out is the most important thing I think when it has to do with babies.  If it's even a remote possibility that one could choke on a stray strand of fur, or that it might get wrapped around a finger or toe and cut off circulation...well, that would be just terrible!
