it's expensive, but ... wowzer.
I wouldn't have bought it ... but i accidentally touched it. AUGH!!

I broke and bought 3 balls of it before I knew what I was going to make... all of one colour. Now that I know what I'm going to make, i want to return two and get 3 different colours.

(I love the yarn as jewellery idea...so I'll be fooling around with more chokers/bracelets ideas.  A crocheted velvet jewel tone choker with danglies.  Yumm.)

oooh that looks lovely!  And the shawl pattern is beautiful and it's in garter stitch so I can make it!
Please do show us your finished product!

Yarn, or food? Yarn, or food? .... Eh, I ate last week.

I just found this pattern that mentioned your new yarn.  It's knitting tho, not crochet.  Still, I thought it was nifty to look at.

It's marvellous to work with. *grin*

It just slips through your fingers...ahh.

Choker's done, just need batteries in my cam.  I put hooks and eyes on the ends.
The colours are *so* gorgeous.

But at 16 bucks a ball, ... it'll be something I indulge in once in a blue moon. :S
(I realize there are much more expensive things... she was trying to talk me into 75$ skeins of some specially imported yarn...eep!!, but I'm used to econo super size lion brand, ya know?)

It doesn't feel like exercise when you're wearing chiffon.

Yeah, to be fair, I did go in with my "Crochet fantasy" magazine, and say "I want to do this project next"... and she told me about the the yarn that was used in the pattern.  I'm PRETTY sure she said 75 bucks.

But I never experienced "LUSTING" after a yarn like I did with the Muensch "Touch me". heheh. The colours are *SO RICH*.  I'm all about colour.

pics in my next post.

Scuze me, I just got back from work, try imagining it on someone who's glammed up a bit.

and...for the actual colour and texture:
(And, the string of beads is sewn in-you can't even see thread in this plush texture.. which is *awesome*)

Next up:  fingerless armwarmer type things.
We'll see.  Luckily, it frogs really easy too.
Oh, And by the way, it FELTS.  So, anyone wanting to wash it... will have it come out really nice felted fabric but way smaller than when it went in.
