This is a quilt for my 11 year old daughter. She shares my love of fabric and all things crafty. She loves lime green and cats, which is where I got the inspiration for it. This has been a WIP for almost 2 years now but luckily (??) we are in the middle of a heatwave and I have a stomache bug so I was able to stitch non-stop for 2 days while enjoying the AC! It's a lap quilt about 48" x 48". She went away with her friend's family for a long weekend and hasn't seen it yet. I can't wait to see her face!

Yes, my daughter was over the moon when she saw it, which is quite amazing for the middle child. She's been wearing it over her shoulders for 2 days now during a heatwave.
