That is beautiful. I remember when I made my first quilt. I put it on my bed and just kept going back and forth to look at it. I was so pleased too. My MIL asked me what pattern it was. I had no idea at the time, they actually had patterns for them. I made it up as I went along. Had a big white cross in the middle trimmed with gold rickrack.

 My husband eventually killed it one night, when he grabbed it to cover a motor when it was going down to freezing.  Got battery acid all over it.. Angry I could have killled  him
