If you like weird absurd type art -- much like we are creating with this swap -- you should definitely check out Dada!

Jamiemarieblue- that's so funny. My first plan for the message on the post card was to write "dada dada dada dada ...". Dada was on my mind too. (You might like "Travesties" by Tom Stoppard, which has the Dadaist Tristan Tzara as a character. It's hilarious).  Cheesy

received today from pinkangel1979 and goatgoddess-thanx guys, loved your work!!
from pinkangel-stylin big screens

from goatgoddess- a cool turtle car-unfortunately the post office took a small bite out of the corner (there's just something about this car that seems a little...you know or is it just my gutter mind??! Wink)

jamiemarieblue, glad you got yours, I do have a clearer pic (I also took real close pictures-duh didn't think to SCAN the ones I sent) the back just has the feet and an old ad about army pants (came into a stash of 1940's weeklies that have hilarious ads in them)

I am so enjoying everyones cool and strange cards!!

Um... maybe I've got a gutter mind too, because I don't think turtles are as... suggestive as that car.  Wink

I know for a fact everyone has received mine and so far only one person has admitted to it....unless they got lost....which i doubt....why is everyone in my group so inactive???  I really want my feedback so I can get on with other swaps.... Angry
Hey babydoll, sometimes the swap you're interested in will talk to the moderator and explain stuff if you REALLY want to get in a swap.  I noticed some other swaps talking about this.  I've never seen it done so I can't say for sure that they can do it, but it's worth a try.  Smiley

<posted this in the other thread too>

Just to let everyone know, tonight I am taking down my computer for the move and won't be online again until I arrive in Kentucky. I also checked my mail today and no postcards.  If they are flying through the mail right now -- they may have been directed to my new apartment.  IF so, I will comment on them when I get to Mammoth Cave.

I have a favor to ask, so that all my partners get to show off their creations.  I still haven't received from goat goddess or starpiste.  If y'all have sent already, could y'all post your postcards for me?  I want to make sure that I don't cross the postcards path.  If you are sending to my Mammoth Cave address, no worries.  When I get them I will post 'em.

I wanted to compliment everyone on this swap!  The random strangeness has made my day.  I can't wait for another round!  Y'all are truly talented.

As always, thanks to goatgoddess for organizing!

Talk at you from Kentucky!!!
