I just finished this today... If you check out my blog you'll notice I've been making the same style bag for quilte some time now. I decided on something a little different. The flip tote lays flat, but the top folds over envelope-style when carried. I also added a dainty lime green lace tie at the end. It's really comfortable to carry- on your shoulder or across your chest. It also has a nice drape to it because of the soft exterior fabric.

The exterior is this circle quilted brown fabric...I can't put a finger on what type of fabric it really is but it's really soft...almost sweater material. I quilted it even further with some random pink stitching and pink remanants of shredded fabric. The interior is a vintage sheet I found a while back....very 70's. I added an interior pocket since the bag is so deep.

Thanks for looking. Smiley

Wow, I absolutely love that bag!  The extra pink quilting/fabric is the best part of it.

that's so cool! it looks very comfy to carry around and such. I love the colors too, very matchy matchy in a not really matchy kind of way. that really didn't make sense.
