i love drawing beetles, they're just so varied and interesting in form. so yesterday i thought, "why don't i make some ATCs that look like drawings from an old victorian style book of biological drawings?"
 so i did.
i hope you like my many legged friends.

i drew the beetles with a fine line waterproof ink pen, then crumpled the paper and stained it with coffee for an aged look.

Nice! Those look like fun to draw.  I love the attention you paid to the feet.  What did you use for reference?

i have this little tiny book i bought at the textile museum while visiting Paris, i cant remember what its called right now, but it's just pages of colour photographs of beetle specimens. i also use a large book which i think is called "an inordinate fondness for beetles", from my local library.
