Stencils and inspiration..

If you need to find any stencils, you can just find coloring book pages. And make sure they have thick lines. And just cut out the lines like you would on a stencil!! Here are some links

another easy way is to go to pumpkin carving sites! if you look for the carving patterns....like www.jack-o-lantern.com they have celbrities and stuff! and you're not weird! it WOULD be cool to have a GIANT thread about this! woohoo! also, someone else posted this site... **edit to remove non-working link** edit done by knitting_nyxxie stenciling moderator 02/23/07

When using stencils from the pumpkin carving people, it's important to note that the areas to be cut out are the highlighted areas...they need to be lighter than the background for the image to appear correctly.  Perfect for bleach pen stencilling or using white (or other light colored) paint on darker fabrics!
