if you go to dafont.com, the dingbat sections or any fonts with symbols work great for stencils, all you have to do is blow them up. i got some awesome star wars pics (cause i'm a huge nerdy fan)
i know that's kinda obvious, but i thought i'd post it anyway....hope it helps!

I just started stenciling today, and when i did the stencils on the shirt, the paint spread and the shirt is soaking in the paint.

I used Fabric Medium and Acrylic Paint.

See ? ? ! ! It's making me very very madd !

what did you use for the stencil? freezer paper might help witht he bleeding, but you probably need to use less paint. do a thin layer and another one later if you need to.

What's the deal with stencil revolution?  I just visited the site for the first time and the posters over there are SO rude!  I won't go back, that's for sure.  It's sort of upsetting just to read their comments.  Anyone else feel that way?  I just don't see the purpose of being rude...constructive criticism yes, but rudeness?  No.

they do seem very rude there.  a lot of people in the the stencilry community on LJ are rude too.
i'd suggest just using those sites for the info that's there, and not to speak to anyone...

I find most livejournal communities to be very rude and it is upsetting!  That's why I usually stick to craftster, everyone's so positive here Cheesy

Anyway to keep this on topic I ran across this photobucket account, i dont know whose it is:
